African Americans fought for their rights for a dour time. Since the sixteenth century, African Americans have been bit for their freedom and equality. They have been tempered as slaves and discriminated by the lily- livid concourse. This travail for equality required a huge sacrifices and obstacles endured by the African American community. Many African Americans didnt own a car, so they walked to accomplishment and scale everyday in bide of the Boycott. In the movie, we see that Odessa walked miles to work and home. African American women were hard-boiled harshly by white men. In the movie, theres a dig when Odessa is discriminated by a police police officer at the park. Another scene is when Odessas daughter and tidings was threatened and hurt by three white men.
