(Look up) The Chrysalids primarily takes place in a town called Waknuk, later on World War 3. This town is unendingly bombarded with tribulations sent from idol to punish those who have sinned. However, these tribulations are alone genetic mutations that were caused by a nuclear war. (Look up) This town is a very sanctified town.
